James ‘Jim’ Hatcher attended Louisiana Tech University on a track scholarship and suffered an accident, leaving him on crutches. His world crashed. No longer able to compete, Jim asked: Why did God let this happen? Does God have the power to heal me? Launching a lifelong study of God’s Word for answers, Jim experienced God as a Father. After earning a BS in business management and marketing, he earned a Master of Theology degree (ThM). He married Linda Requard, and they have a son and a daughter. Jim founded and pastored Zion Christian Fellowship in Shreveport, LA.
